My teaching style is deeply embedded on Communicative Approach. I want my learners to acquire all four skills (Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening) and use a language for meaningful communication. As a result, I often use authentic materials, (videos, blogs, movies, documentaries) and carefully levelled books with high interest themes. Through these approaches students learn grammar inductively, and improve their speaking and vocabulary in a less pressured environment.
I want my students to be less of a “class” and more of a community, where we are all sharing ideas, assisting one another, and communicating.
